Powerpuffs is a group that aims to seek out those feeling lost in this sea of popularity and really make them feel loved!
Seriously though, the Power Puffs are taught to look for signs of those who might be depressed, anxious, or showing signs of abuse outside of school. When they spot these signs they typically discuss it with the group and a plan is formulated to befriend them and help them with their issues. Kids who are too afraid of awkward to go to a counselor might find solace in someone their own age or general clique, so Power Puffs try to bridge that gap.
This group isn't to be taken lightly, as for some their emotions and mental stability are fragile at best and need to be handled with the utmost care. If it is a case of bullying it is generally offered for someone to be nearby or even escort a student to and from places until said bully is confronted or believed to have lost interest. They are also there to step in when bullying is taking place, generally requiring at least one more than the amount of bullies present to really confront them.
Otherwise it is deemed best to seek out a teacher. Confrontations are never allowed to go more than stepping between the victim and the assailant, calling out the bully and urging them to back off. No fighting is allowed unless it is absolutely necessary- as in to save your or someone else's life.
The Power Puffs will often hold events to gather like-minded individuals and help people make connections with those around them.
If it is believed someone is facing abuse outside of school or in the home then it is up to the Power Puffs to let the Counselor know and help them gather courage to talk about their problems.
Power Puffs meet Mondays and Fridays in order to begin the week prepared (Friday) and end the week with discussion (Monday) since they meet after school.
